The drink oozes dark restaurants and red leather banquettes. For me, however, it reminds me of my grandmother who herself, never drank them, but made them for her friends -- who preferred them sweet with a TBS or two of the cherry "juice" in them.Sis. I had my first in Atlanta, during my "let's try every cocktail, ever made" phase...and it stuck.
